I Don’t Miss You

At the place where you once were

I am left here alone

I try to smile and it’s not really that awkward

Am I not sad enough yet?

Or is my heart lying to me?

The empty gap of my day’s memory that seems to be fine

In between each clock’s ticking, I’m hurting

Although my heart is wounded

Without even knowing, I just hide it

Right now I don’t want to see you,

And I don’t really miss you.

Are words that I really don’t mean,

But l’ve been saying them as if I do.

There’s really no one to listen to

So I stick to my heart even though it’s not real

Isn’t it funny

Today, too, I won’t miss you.
